As I explained earlier it is very rarely one specific issue with the game:

Akimbo G18s DO NOT ruin the game. UMP does NOT ruin the game. ACR does NOT ruin the game. None of those solely ruin the game. HOWEVER all of those little tiny things add up to POORLY BALANCED WEAPONS - and that is what ruins part of the game. The weapon that just killed you being OP does not ruin the game, the fact that the game is poorly balanced ruins the game.

Host migration does not ruin a game. Host migration 4 times in the first 5 minutes does not ruin the game, just another large annoyance. A ping of 130ms does not ruin the entire game, just a massive annoyance. Host disconnection does not ruin the game, just a big annoyance. ALL OF THOSE TOGETHER ruin the game.

One killstreak does not ruin the game. Two thirds of all killstreaks being AI controlled however ruins an [u]FPS[u/]. If I want to do the killing I buy an FPS. If I want to watch the console/PC kill people for me I buy an RTS game.

Robert bowling's "all you dedicated, knowledgable and experienced PC gamers are idiots and I'm here to lie to your face" speach didn't ruin MW2. A map pack at £12.99 didn't ruin MW2. The game being 33% more expensive than usual didn't ruin the game. Removing mods didn't ruin the game. Removing the command console didn't ruin the game. All the reviews online being fake (I thought this was shocking, all of the online reviews by people we trust like IGN were all vetted by activision before release, if activision didn't like the review they simply declined the journalist the right to review the product before release) didn't ruin the game HOWEVER ALL OF THOSE TOGETHER ADD UP to a very broken consumer-publisher relationship and mistrust.

There are plenty more. However I believe that so many elements of MW2 being majorly flawed all add up to OUTWEIGHING THE POSITIVE BITS OF MW2.
