I fucking hate MDs (or CEOs, Chairmen, people of that ilke). They all use the same language and it's basically saying 'sorry, we care we really do' but what it means is 'we have your money already fuck you'.
I see they've given up on trying to promise which day restoration will occur. For the first week I blamed the hackers, over 2 weeks in now and I blame Sony for having such an obviously fragile system that it could be taken down to such an extent. A network of that size should have foreseen an attack of this scale and prepared accordingly. Wankers.

Sony could have done more, yes, but the hackers would have still been able to hack it's way into it if they really wanted to. This whole thing could have still happened. The key thing is that no fraud has occurred because of it, which is a damn good thing imo. It's also caused Sony to up their protection and hopefully all networks will follow suit.

I don't remember Sony ever given an actual date of when PSN would return, only heard rumours spread by poor internet sites (obviously done to get hits and it worked because people bought it).
