Hoping it's still Liberty City, but a larger map (like suburbs and country side and the like) and STATEN ISLAND included.

To those who didn't know, it's Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn and the eastern part of New Jersey. They left out the 5th borough of NYC, the one I live in.

Although on the GTA Wiki, in the GTA V wishlist, someone mentioned St Louis as a location (renamed St Clark as an obvious reference to Louis and Clark). I could see that, especially skydiving off the Arch.

^^^^^The one thing that could put me off is if they made it liberty city again. Got that city. I think St louis is posssible as it has been rumoured for a while. My choice would be for SA though. PS3 version of that game would be awesome. (SA is still the best game of all time).
My other fear is they do the same as IV and make it fit on 1 dvd for the xbox market. The xbox is the primary reason that IV failed to live up to SA. Some people didn't like the story but the cut down game is what upset me. They originally wanted to make it much, much bigger with an install on the hD. As xbox doesn't always have HD and it is dvd they made the crappy decision to fit it on 1 dvd. Even thought lead machine was the ps3.
I do have one question about the pic. Why have they put GTA V 5?

I dont think its called V 5, its just the logo made to look like a $5 bill. I would give a toe for it to be in SA. Just the different environments and side missions made it the best gta so far. so fingers crossed

GTA IV was shite. They focused on developing the wrong areas of the previous games which made it so great.

Has anyone actually ever completed a GTA game? I've owned all of them and never really got past halfway because it's too fun doing other stuff; except for GTA IV, I stopped cause I got bored.

I had about 50% completion of GTA IV, TLaD and TBoGT. I personally hate most side missions, especially the drug wars.

I'd actually like it if they chose a brand new spot (like St Louis, or somewhere completely different. Hell, even out of America would be a welcome change). I just have the connection to Liberty City because I live in its counterpart.

If I had any suggestions about GTA V, it'd be for a new location, different environments, more character customization options (besides just clothing, it could be like how GTA IV multiplayer had a different voice for each face) and most importantly:

Larger selection of vehicles, weapons, and the ability to use silencers and/or assassinations (knives and such). GTA IV was a let down in that aspect, especially with it only having 11 weapons including grenades, not including the DLC.

I've completed SA.

If it's St. Louis, that's retarded as hell. Liberty City also would suck. I'd say Chicago because it'd be fun to cruise around in your own city, but that'd be far too similar to Liberty City anyway. A remake of GTASA would be cool, but I doubt they'll do that... What other unique places.... Miami was vice city, Cali/Vegas was SA... Texas?

Hawaii? They could do all the islands (the main ones) and have crazy jungle shit. Foreign countries perhaps? I can't think of a way to continue SA's story... except maybe if Cesar becomes the main character and gets involved in shit in south america and CJ & Sweet follow to help him since they're bros?


Also, another feature I think would kinda be cool (maybe lame to others) would be a "realism" mode you turn on, where you can do more realistic (while still being illegal or dangerous) missions, and cops are more strict in the sense that running reds/speeding gets you pulled over, etc. Realistic health, getting shot in leg impairs movement and stuff... and in-car health, getting into a head-on with a semi while in a sports car would get you killed or nearly killed.

I almost think a Texas/mexican border one would be cool following the life of an illegal who goes between the border to do stuff... idk, might be a bit risky but I guess we'll see what happens.

I believe there's a game that did that, I think it's called Cartel (ironically). It's on the PSN store under "c", I know that much.

I know, it'd but fun to have Chicago, but it'd be so repetitive like LC.

There are rumors of a real-world LA... I mean, they have the model in Midnight Club: LA to use, so it's possible.

I could see LA. I'm trying to think of other countries that could be interesting.

I'm just saying LC has been used at least twice (idk if maybe more) so a 3rd one wouldn't make sense, especially after the previous one was LC.

The problem I have with LA is that SA included LA, Sanfran, and Vegas., so it'd be too similar to GTASA... maybe. Maybe not, idunno.

Detroit Metro maybe? Given Rockstar's engine being able to do huge maps and how the Detroit Metropolitan area covers like a sixth of Lower Michigan, maybe?

Reason I say Detroit Metro and not just the shithole of a city is because this would make the most sense to be developed on next gen consoles which would (hopefully) be a bit more powerful, who the hell am i kidding

If you're including Ann Arbor in there you know the first thing I'll do with the game is just RPG the shit out of Michigan Stadium even if it doesn't do anything.

But Detroit actually isn't a bad idea. In the same vein, they could then include Chicago and a third Midwestern city... or maybe something like Philly/Pittsburgh?
