It's not hard to hook up a ps3 or xbox 360 controller to a comp. I used my ps3 controller to play games on emulators all the time. But I wouldn't recommend playing any fps games on a comp with a controller. That's just asking to get raped.

One of the lads on the BF3 forum uses his xbox controller on PC (a number do actually) and he does ok. I'm with you in that I would expect to get raped if I wasnt using mouse and keyboard but his stats aren't bad.

I think BF3 is a bit different though. The dedicated people are using 360 controller/joystick for flying etc then dropping it in their lap to use the keyboard for on foot.

This guy plays the whole game with the controller. Says he can't use mouse, he just gets raped.
I think a number of console players bought a pc just for bf3 so have no experience with mouse. There must be 10-20 people on the BF3 forum using the xbox controller instead of mouse.

I had to stop after 34 seconds. It's hard enough to play CSS if your like me, haven't been playing it since it came out. But I cannot imagine playing this game with a controller, seems utterly suicidal.

I know a few people that use a) xbox controller on PC or b)keyboard/mouse on xbox. I intend on geting the xfps adapter so I can play co-op games with my boyfriend on his xbox but I can't understand why someone would really want to use a controller on a PC, playing an FPS.

There are some games where you can turn aim assist on and use the controllers much more easily, L4D2 has that I think? I know Borderlands had it, you could even turn it on with mouse + KB.... I did... :|

I remember playing CoD4 early on with a Logitech PS3+PC controller, the game died with me until I replaced my keyboard.
