I had just started playing WoW again, and as I was putting my MW2 in a cage dangling over piranhas I thought, "I wonder if there are any other WoW players on that one website"

If so, what realm, class, spec etc. do you use?

Not anymore...I miss the old days when it was just to lvl 60. Dont like the new stuff. There was so much content in the old game that is just never explored anymore. I dont like change!

i dunno, there's nothing less appealing to me than a game you plan online with magic and stuff like that, seems really retarded. I dunno, people find it fun, but IMO people take it way to seriously... sorry.

Naww, i'm kidding, I played a WoW trial a couple of years back, it wasn't for me but I guess that might have been because I wasso entrenched in the Guild Wars was of playing an MMO.

no WoW for me but i used to play RS, quit around a month ago because i was spending alot more time on mw2 and was getting really bored of it

Played WoW for 3 years, started and ran a raiding guild for most of that but I haven't played since December as its too hard to commit time to and I work some unpredictable hours these days. That and I really didn't enjoy what was happening with the game. Some of the latest stuff is making the game easier / more convenient but killing the social atmosphere of the game IMO (such as the cross realm insta dungeon stuff).

Its no more or less retarded than a bunch of people playing soldiers, running around shooting each other. Yeah there are the outspoken obsessed nutcases, but you get that in large addictive social environments like MMOs.

Sorry for hating it, I dunno, its like one of those weird quirks i have where I hate WoW and I stereotype the people that play it as nerds. I know that's not true but I cannot liberate myself from the thought... I hope you know what I mean.

WoW is alright, im more of a 2-d platformer type of guy. love mmorgps though

I played WoW for a long time.


Level 80 warrior, shaman and a high 70s mage. Raided, PvP'd, arena'd... etc


Finally burned out right about the time I bought this game. I still have my account (not active, but not selling it I mean) but I don't plan to go back. I might check it out for Cataclysm if it turns out to be amazing, but honestly at this time I feel no drive to jump back into a grind like that.

played wow for a bout 8 months last year, lvl 80 hunter, lvl 80 DK, lvl 80 paldin, lvl 80 mage, lvl 80 shaman and a lvl 80 druid and some little guys for bank stuff yadda yadda yadda.

what i really feel about wow now is how the hell people played it for years, it really doesn't add anything new i was playing during the time when all the new changes came in and to be honest it got worse and incredibly easy every instance got nerfed to the ground, some of the best gear is available for doing next to nothing now.

even before the changes once you got to lvl 80 it only took a few weeks to see all the content and it isn't that great, the community is full of little kids thinking they are god when clearly they need a life.

another thing is the recent raids that have been added the ICC, is so below par when it comes to raiding that i found it sooooooo boring i know nearly every server is pugging 10 man now.

also with the cataclysm news of a total overhaul i felt i might aswell not bother anymore seeing as 90% of everything will be different.

it is addictive because there is always something to do, but it is all repetative to the point of frustration and after a few months i found it was just like having a job that i had to pay my employer to do.

No. I spent some time around 2 guys that were really into WOW and determined that was the reason neither of them ever got laid. I decided then and there, that I would never play a game that can severely weaken my chances of sex with someone.
