I pretty much felt like killing myself as soon as the shit "legal precautions" got into full swing.

I'm not dead against Twilight, hell i'm a guy and i've read them (they were gifted to me by somewhat misinformed family members), they weren't unenjoyable, but then I enjoy pretty much all fiction. However, people who think they have "eternal love" with a fictional character need to seriously assess their lives. If my girlfriend is spending more time fantasising about a character than she is spending with me, then I don't think it's me that needs the advice and relationship counselling.

Also, as a "real man" in the books Edward is a huge misogynist.

Twilight is the biggest piece of shit ever written. It was the first time i have ever stopped reading a book within the first chapter, so awkward and has an incredibly flimsy plot.

If you hate it as much as I do, I suggest you watch the youtube series "Alex reads Twilight". The guy's youtube channel is "nerimon" and its pretty damn funny how much he pulls it apart.
