All my life I've sort of looked at the little things as just that...little things. I never really saw much significance in a single penny, a single dollar, a single vote, a w/e. I've never really seen what, say, a penny saved could do for you. Never would I have thought that in America you could buy food for an average of $1 a day. Sure, it might not be an easy feat, but it is possible.

This man is working to turn a penny he found on the ground one day into a million dollars worth of donated food. So far he's turned that single penny into $575.99 which in total has bought $13,724.39 worth in food.

Additionally, he's been on a mission to prove to his sister you can buy food, here in America, for an average of $1 a day. Brand name, too. He's already completed a month, stretching his first $31 (with some extra money left over!) to nearly $600 worth of food, a lot of which has been donated to charities. I wonder what it will be like at the end of this month.
