Default Video games affecting taste buds??
I don't know if this should be in AWOL or not. Anyways... I used to drink water and it tasted normal. Then I bought COD6 and my water tasted different. Then I started playing Red Dead Redemption and my water had a different taste, unlike the previous two. Then I bought Mass Effect 2 (which by the way is an awesome game) and my water taste changed yet again. Then I started playing COD6 again and the taste went back to how it was before when I played it.

Is this something psychological or is it just coincidence or do video games really change how people taste water? And does anyone else experience this too?

You want to know if its fatal or if video games change water tastes ?, which is it ?. I get in moods for different things when I play different games, eg ; bourbon when I play red dead ( just to be authentic ) , it sounds to me like its psychosemantic. You just had an active imagination.

CoD4 was my mouth wash, AK-74u never tasted so good!

Plus I agree with chemicals on your water.

OR

MW2 is a very stressing game so if you're sweating a lot while playing, and getting dehydrated thus making your mouth dry, water will taste different.

Well I can't drink beer because I'm not old enough, and I don't think it's the water company mixing in chemicals because why would it change so perfectly depending on what video game I play? How often do they even change the chemicals they mix in?

By the way, seeing a doctor is a horrible idea what the hell are you thinking? I'd like to see you go in a doctors office and talk about this. Video plz or didn't happen.

Actually, I know that if I smell certain smells, it reminds me of (well not only but obviously depending on the smell it reminds me of different things lol)various video games I used to play (if I smell something that reminds me of my dad's old apartment, I think of Goldeneye64 or Rogue Squadron or Zelda:OoT, for example). That is simply being nostalgic about ones childhood though.

Yikes I read this and it sounded lame at first. But having your sense of taste altered can be serious. It could be a sign of an oncoming stroke. You should probably talk to a doctor about this.
