This can be big news for YouTube recorders out there, especially video gamers. Hopefully within the next few months, the testing or final product will go live to the public, and not just partners.

Myself, I would love this. We could create a thread in the Media section about live streaming and bump it when one of us is streaming for a few laughs or entertainment. It would definitely make myself and others alike be more interactive with YouTube. This would probably give websites like JustinTV, and uStream slight competition.

What do you guys think about this? Will it encourage you to stream your gaming/interests to your subscribers? If you have a recorder already, would you consider streaming your games live?

If I do get one, I would consider doing this definately.
If it's the other way around. I would definately watch my friends stream.

Xfire does it already, and very well if I might add (well at least for other games I've seen streamed).

Unfortunately it would have to be past 2 am since of gay Australian internet ISPs.

but hey, that's when all you guys are at work so you can watch me play MW2, HoN and CS

This could be brilliant, if it is as good as it sounds.

But yes, having an upload speed of 300kbps doesn't make me a prime candidate for doing this.
