Default DNS 4:2:2:1 security issues?

I've been experiencing odd Blops problems such as it randomly signing me out of PSN (no other game does this and I have a good cable connection). I've trawled some other forums and found i am not alone, one solution suggested has been to set my primary DNS to the one in the title which is apparently made freely available with gaming in mind.
I'm fairly certain this is a safe thing to do but only have a layman's knowledge of t'internet, is anyone aware of any reason I shouldn't do this? Cheers

No idea why you should have to use this but I do know this is supposed to be a fast server for gaming. 15ms ping is reported for a lot of people. See no reason why it isn't safe either. May get corrected on that as I don't use it myself.

I did and have nothing to report. Seriously, nothing happened, nothing.
playstation or router didn't seem to like it at all (I completely lost my connection) so I gave up and went back to my normal settings.
when running a speedtest on my pc (which shares a router with the playstation so i'm assuming they get a fairly equal service) I get a 10ms ping so my connection is pretty good anyway, i don't think that was the issue after all.
I was hoping they would release an update to coincide with the map pack as they usually do, but that doesn't seem to be the case this time round.

I had been toying wtih that idea but funds are tight, I'm saving myself for BF3. I'll be a complete noob at that so can't wait to get raped by you guys.
I formally await my entry into the 'out of context' thread.

You don't get it if you ask for it >.> It has to be a surprise.
