I was trying to set up a split screen game so me and a friend of mine could play head to head against eachother. I got to the split screen menu where you pick the map, game mode, customize wepon classes, etc. All of that worked fine, until I tried to add the second controller. I turned on the controller and it popped up to press X to sign in. I pressed X and I got a notice that I can't join because there was no network connection identified. So I close that notice, and then it says press X to play next to the 2nd controller icon. I press X and I get the same notice as before. It absolutely would not let me play with the 2nd controller, it wouldn't join at all. I wasn't connected to the internet, but you dont have to be to play offline splitscreen. We then proceeded to play zombies and the 2nd controller joined fine, no problems whatsoever.

I've found on other forums reports of this happening, but no solutions to the problem. It seems the second controller tries to connect to online even though theres no need to. I have no idea what to do, I hope somewhere here can help me out. Thanks to anyone who actually took the time to read all this
