And it's a strategic commentary, yeh its not the most exciting ever but it offers good insight into why he does the things he does. In other words, a useful commentary, more than "This guy pops up on the right and i shoot him" or just saying "i fail with the frag right here"

Maybe i worded that wrong. It is very helpful for this map, and I used the Grid commentary when I played Grid (did very well, ) but some things i found sort of useless. like in the beginning, "i wait here while i restore my health". Idunno, but that seems kinda obvious

I wouldn't have really caught it, tbh. I thought he heard an enemy or was waiting for something to develop. It wasn't the first thing that would've entered my mind. So, it's useful, since everybody gets something out of it, even the parts you think are "useless"

It's also time constraints. I could have a lot to say in certain situations. I'm considering doing a pause play one of a few rounds since i'll be able to get a lot more in. I do it live as I watch the playback so I just try to get what I feel is important in there but things often develope quickly meaning I have to skip what I may have wanted to say since something else came up.

Using that particular example at the start. I'm doing a few things, mostly intuitively. I am getting my health back. I am looking at my teams movement on my radar, looking at the killfeed I can see 4 straight kills in our favour meaning there are only about 2-3 people left. I notice that most of the kills took place on the B side of the map so it is likely the enemy thinks that it is a B plant and they will be rotating to that site. This influences my decision to quickly plant on the A side. Getting the bomb down and giving us a further advantage. I can't really say all this in 5 seconds though and I mostly do it without thinking explicitly about it so that's why it skips my mind in the commentary.
