Back on topic...any luck with the TV pants? You should just toss it and buy a new one.
This is the brand I had and it's pretty cheap for a 42". I wish we had Micro Center in Seattle. We had one in KCMO and I loved going there!

For 42 that would be a good deal and I'd definitely spring for that. However I am going to be living in a cell dorm so 42" is quite large.

I know there are some 24" out there that aren't very expenive too that can also double as a computer monitor. Most these days are hdmi so they swing both ways if you catch my drift.

oh right, TVs... um yeah we're gonna see about that, I probably won't end up playing xbox at all in college, but I'll get a monitor at some point. I see a 1080p 24" for 269 or something like that...
