is it me or do enemies not drop their guns most of the time when they die?

For some reason, they drop right when they die, then they have the dying animation which sometimes takes them a few feet away. They are usually there, just not where the body is.

They disappear after a while as well. I hate it when I'm looking for a primary when I'm out of ammo and I kill the guy when he's holding his secondary so its either another pistol or a strela or something

It's possible the gun is the same configuration as yours so you're getting ammo. The other possibility is that the gun disappears due to the amount of dropped ones already. IIRC, there can be up to 16 dropped guns at a time before they start disappearing.

And remember that there are other players who will come along and pick up the weapon/ammo.

constantly i kill a guy, and he dies, i run over to pick up his gun, and it is nowhere to be found,i didnt know that after 16 guns are on the ground, the other ones start disappearing.but

It happens in larger games like groundwar. There is less memory to hold dropped weapons as there as so many players. In a smaller game like team tac I guarantee the weapons will be there.

^This is most likely. I really don't see the "no gun" thingy a lot, barely at all. But yeah, if theres like 16 at a time some might not drop right away
