when i got modern warfare 2 it had me hooked from day one and kept me playing until i got black ops however it just didnt have the same effect on me, 1 month and a half later im bored, its too repetive, servers full of liitle kids screaming yet to experience puberty, nazi zombies is nearly impossible to find a match were people dont rage-quit becuse you didnt revive them and a campaign that doesnt make any sense until the end and dont skip any cutscenes.

I'm bored of BO too tbf. MW2 was gripping. I kinda miss the rage quitting and feeling like putting a hole thru my TV when I get tubed repeatedly by the same guy. I'll probably give MW2 another go when I get my PS3 back from my friend in Birmingham.

I disagree, I definitely don't miss MW2 and all the noob tubes and nukes and crap. Sure, there's tons of little 12 year olds screaming over the mic, but it's always been that way.

I find I'm still finding plenty of different routes to take on maps, different setups that work well for me, etc. and think I'll be discovering new things for some time now.

I was bored a bit, but have kinda gotten back into playing it. MW2 was great until about 3 months before BO came out, but I was burned out really bad. Marathon Unlimited run was about 80% used by all gamers, and tubes were everywhere.

I have not put in nearly the time with BO like I did with MW2. In BO its kinda an expansion pack of MW2 but with new twist on getting everything. Yes there are a couple new weopons and killstreaks but its still pretty much the same player styles and game play.

The maps in BO dont allow for full range of weopon usage, as they are not as wide open that they should be. I reference this back to WaW where on some maps you would see players use rifle and other long range guns to assist them because of map depth, and then on the smaller maps you would see players change up. I thought WaW exposed more adapting to map play, than in these last two titles. MW2 & BO you can use one gun to course thru all the maps and be effective. I think maps are key to making players change up and do things different. The highest vote counts for replay of maps are Nuketown and Firing Range.

I love the maps for BO, but it really needs more open spaces and less cover areas, so players can adapt to different playing needs, bringing more of a challenge to map play. They also could refine the sniper a little to make this more effective.

These are just some things why I get bored playing this.

I just spaz it out with the Stakeout, Ballistic Knife and Tomahawk, sometimes the Crossbow.

It's a lot more fun playing like a headless chicken not caring how your KDR will fare in the end.

Sniping is fun for me. I played HQ with a full party and used the M60, we each got at least one chopper. Way too easy sometimes. Next game, we got raped. So sometimes it makes me feel so bored, but I think sniping makes it seem so rewarding when you get a kill.

Like when I got my first "All Pro" double headshot with the L96 on Havana yesterday. I was very happy.

I thought this theory might work too until I tried it the other night and rage quit within 2 games. It looks so much better but every gripe, complaint, and problem with that game still exists & is amplified by the fact that the concentration of annoying players has increased due to the exodus to BO or away from COD completely. Suddenly BO looked like a much better game again.

Ive been playing this less than a week and I fucking hate it. Camping wankers everywhere, even with ghost on the helis can still fucking see/kill you. Most of all I hate playing hq with twats who play it as though its td, and dont bother with the hq. The latters not the games fault just the dumb cunts I seem to end up playing with. Reckon I'll go back to mw2 or waw cus all the camping cunts from those games have come on to blops.

I've played every CoD title pretty much religiously since CoD4, and CoD2 completely casually before then. If you are bored of Black Ops, you just have to accept you are bored of CoD in its current format. I don't blame you, going through the whole prestige/unlocks/rank-grind for the fourth game in a row is undeniably getting stale but I still find the gameplay enjoyable enough that I play BO no less than I did CoD4 when I first started getting into the series.

Basically:
1) If you are bored of Black Ops, go out and play some different games aside from CoD, it isn't the be all and end all of good games.
2) If you prefer MW2 to Black Ops and this is the reason you are "bored", you just can't handle the skill increase between the games and you are bored because you are a bad player. *cough* OP *cough*

I am. Kinda. Maybe I'll play a different gametype, maybe some CTF or Domination, a good change of pace from constant TDM.

As for campers, I haven't noticed any change from the other games.

Once again: good game series, is getting stale now, needs something really new, or just die and make way for something fresh.

I just now played BFBC2, for the first time. I did the campaign in one sitting, MW and BO, just didnt do that for me. But i totally prefer the hectic play of COD's multiplayer. I also have found that I like the ease of use for parties and such with MW2. So i will probably be going back and forth with them.
