I just looked at my stats and I have died by this gun more times than any other. The next gun on the list which I think is the famas has only killed me half as much. Also I have used the gun myself and think it should have more recoil due to the fact that it can easily get kills at the same ranges ARs can.

Spectre > AK74u

Slap a grip on the Spectre and you're laughing, shits all over the 74u kids game after game. The G11 is far more overpowered in my opinion, unbeatable at long/medium range in the rights hands.

I think that what he was getting at is that the G11 is deadly if you are accurate enough to hit consistently with it. Accuracy is definitely not a good metric for judging skill, but it can help to judge the effectiveness of a weapon that requires one to be accurate to use (for that person).

I don't think 15% is all that accurate though.

I have never been killed by a G11. Only once have I ever seen one dropped, on the floor.

Anyway, your point isn't relevant enough to the G18 itself to be valid (or make his even slightly, possibly, arguably valid).

G11 isn't that great, I dunno why some people think it rocks. Yeah it's accurate, but I can outsnipe it. And if you miss the first burst, you can be killed by just about any of the other weapons.

I think its pretty difficult to classify anyone as "stupid" from an internet forum. G11 has a decent one burst potential and SMG hipfire spread, go and search "xcal g11 hip fire nuketown" on youtube and you will see the reason why I think its overpowered for an AR.

Imunality

The G11 is one of the better AR's if you can aim well. I do VERY VERY VERY, and I mean VERY, good with it whenever I use it. I don't think it's overpowered as it's not the easiest weapon to handle. I've got good accuracy and quick reactions so it works like a charm for me. The tight hip fire helps alot in CQB with jumping around and firing like a maniac.

I know it's deadly when accurate, but if your in a 1 on 1 where the enemy has decent aim and a better firerate and sees you, if you missed you're screwed.

I honestly get killed by the commando and stoner way more then any other gun. Of course the AK74u is way over used, but of course people are going to use it because you unlock it at such a low level, and it is prime for nubs to get used to the game. Thats all it really is, like you said in the first post, it is like the UMP. You can use any attatchment on it and still go great. The most used is grip, you would be used to much on the UMP if it was possible, then it would go to red dot or silencer.. which is used on both UMP and AK74u. Theres a 'UMP' in everygame, MP5(Cod4), UMP(Mw2), MP40(WAW), AK74u(Black OPs).

MP5 in CoD4? AK74u had the same damage, rate of fire, and magazine size, but had less recoil, and penetrated surfaces better (as good as the assault rifles). It's only real disadvantages were that it was the only SMG with idle sway (mostly offset by the recoil, though), the hipfire bug with the red dot sight, and the lower long range damage (which was standard to SMGs anyway). It was just better than the competition; advantages outweighed the disadvantages.

I like the FAMAS better than the AUG, haven't tried the commando yet though.

The only difference between famas and aug is the recoil, the famas sometime have HUGE recoil sometimes almost none but always in the same direction while the aug is more random in its direction but always have same recoil.

The AK74u is clearly overused and is pretty god damn good but I wouldn't say overpowered more that others SMG are just crap except the MPL, MP5K and spectre. I'm still pretty sure an aug, famas or galil is better than the ak74u.
