i think it's the controller
and if you dont use an eqipment, the up on the d-pad changes to the secondary weapon

It's either the controller or the ps3. I'm doing fine, not having any trouble with anything lately. If it's not the controller, just use no equipment or reinstall the game to your ps3.

Doesn't happen with me, it must be your controller or something
The latest patch for PS3 though is stupid, you can't double switch halfway through reloading now.
It just switches once

Set your equipment to tomahawk.. if youre aiming on target it should kill them

A tomahawk is under the lethal category, not in the equipment slot.

They patched reload cancelling by hitting the reload button twice. You can still do it by hitting the sprint button though. The reason is because jitter mods in controllers use this in order to fire guns like the m16 without the space in between shots.

i am so tired of them patching things for modded controllers, how many have you seen in your years of playing? i think i remember two in four years of playing call of duty.the fal is a joke with it's bull$hit jam limit stop firing thing.and now this reload canceling being gone.....what a joke

I'm not sure why they try to "patch" modded controllers... it's not like they are REALLY common, I don't see them often, and they usually aren't the ones that give you a huge advantage, just like the fully auto FAL and stupid crap.
