It will include four multiplayer maps and one zombie mode map. It will be available February 1, 2011 for Xbox 360. It will cost 1200 MS Points ($15.00). PS3 and PC users will have to wait until March or April to purchase the map pack.

i like the interactive maps. Blowing up a bridge, the turrets. Like the doors in radiation.

Yeah interactive maps are kinda fun but the little novelties will get stale IMO. But I'm still trying to figure out what gun to use/type of player I am, since the gun classes are actually decent in Blops and they cater to the actual type of player, there aren't really like 20 guns that can do well at one thing...

I just played MW2 on my friend's PS3 btw, so easy... at least when you can play in a non-hacked lobby, a very rare occurence.

Kowloon: Zipline could be fun, like go behind an enemy and backstab them at the end. Probably my favorite by looking at it.

Discovery: Pretty cool, not much else to say.

Berlin Wall: Looks good, minus the goddamn turrets.

Stadium: I probably won't like it.

Ascension: I WISH THEY SAID SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Oh, $15 again... I'll complain but I'll still end up buying it. Never got the 2nd MW2 one.
Since I'm gonna upload commentaries I'll probably start liking Blops again, and maybe more if the maps turn out okay. I'm not sure what the point of NoMansLand in the Berlin Wall one is... is there a reward for crossing or do you just get popped by those stupid turrets?

No man's land provides a faster route to traverse the map, rather than having to use the traditional infiltration points on the map.

$15 (£10) i s a bit pricey for 4 map dlc, but these maps look well thought out and interesting. As I don't really play much else other than Blops at the mo, I'll definitely be buying it. I hope the promise of some long sightlines from elevated positions on Berlin Wall gets me interested in Sniping again. Also the ravine/chasm thing in Discovery looks fun as do the ziplines in Kowloon.

Bought both map packs for mw2 and if you would have asked me if I was getting them for blops when I first bought the game I would have said definately. After 2 months of playing this piece of shit ( I actually really like the game but I reckon I have spent more time in wasted games through being kicked or hanging than completed ones) I can say without a doubt I will not be buying them. This time tomorrow I will be playing modern combat.

@Pants: Why was PS3 MW2 easier? Players or system?

I got the pack today. IMO, 5 maps is not enough. Without playing the First Strike playlist, you hardly get any new maps. And I hate how you can't play Demolition in the playlist!

Kowloon: My favourite map of the lot. Probably one of the best in the game IMO. I don't use the ziplines much, but that building is crazy in Domination.

Stadium: I haven't played this enough to make a judgement of it. If anything, it's too open. I mean, it's hard to explain but there is too much middle of the map. Never mind..

Berlin Wall: No, no, no, no, no. Terrible map. Automatic turrets covering half the map? No. Way too much attention on the B Flag (Dom). Camper's haven.

Discovery: Haven't got a chance to play it yet. Same with Ascension.

I'm hoping the next map pack will be better.

why do people complain about $15 for a map pack.and the people who feel like they should get them for free.wtf? it's 15 f'ing dollars! eat fast food twice. eat at chili's once, get four gallons of gas,one t-shirt.just about everyone of you spends $15 everyday on nothing.why do you think treyarch owe you free stuff?

Let's see... because map packs and DLC are cheaper for every other game out there. Infact, CoD4 had FREE map packs on PC, and they were half the price on console for the same amount of content.

You can buy a whole expansion pack for BC2, which includes far more stuff than any of the CoD map packs (rejected maps for the original release) for less money than Activision charge the blind followers of the CoD franchise.

I agree. While $15 is a little pricey, it does alot to keep the game going etc. I'm the type of person who only plays about 2 games at a time and I play them for about a year. DLCs help extend their playability and give me new things to do.

Treyarch doesn't owe you anything from a DLC standpoint. They do owe you patches, etc. to tweak the game you have purchased. But, you purchased Black Ops, which is a complete game. The map packs are a different thing altogether and, while they compliment the game you've purchased, they are not part of what you've paid for. If its too expensive, don't buy it.

Treyarch do owe you from a dlc point.
A. They shouldn't charge for DLC which was alllocated out of release budget.
B. They should make sure it is value for money.
C. Most important of all they should make it work.

Bought BF BC2 three days ago and haven't even though about this map pack at all. I'm pretty sure I wont even play during the double xp weekend since me and my friends have a full squad in BC2 and it's so much more fun to play together than playing cod alone..
