Not surprised. Treyarch did 3 map packs for WaW, no reason not to do 3 for Black Ops.

Not sure if i'd buy a third one like, who knows, the recent map pack hasn't been too bad, particularly for SND and thon zombie map looks challenging.

Here's the source (kinda) New COD Black Ops map DLC leaked News - - Page 1 | Eurogamer.net

But yeah, £30 for 15 maps. I really can't justify that, and anyone who tries to needs to be culled.

Since it's blurry, what does it say above "Zombies"? The title of CotD was in a poster like this for the Escalation map pack.

Second, I love the Megadeth reference (Hangar 18)

EDIT: Nevermind, CoD Wiki was actually good for something for once:

Not sure you are correct about it being a Megadeath reference as Hanger 18 was also a film made in the 80's inspired by Hanger 18 at Area 51 in Roswell. IIRC it involved Silo's rockets and (maybe) Aliens.

That said, I prefer your version so hope they were inspired by Megadeath

Haha, even if they weren't, put the song on repeat anytime you play the map

But a lot of people are thinking it's Area 51 inspired.

jomick of course you'd be interested in the zombie section only... haha

as far as map packs go, i've gotten none and don't think buying them will greatly enhance my enjoyment... especially if I were to get all 3 and spend 75% of the game's price on DLC...

This is what it comes down to in the end. When PS3 first came out games suddenly jumped in price by £10-£15, a few years on and the DLC fashion adds another £10-£20, £30 is getting ridiculous.
Yes i'd get my money's worth but it's still a kick in the balls when you initially calculate a year's worth of COD for £40 and then end up paying £60-£70.

that said, the poster doesn't look right to me. The "Obliterate the..." "Attack the.." pattern feels like an amateur marketing idea, not million dollar promo marketing.

Yes you do. It's COD.

Apart from zoo they look like any other blops maps, not bad but nothing special. Stockpile is just like wmd. They are both just warehouses in the snow and zoo looks like a shit carnival

^^^^ oh yeah. I temporarily forgot that all blops graphics are 5 years behind. I swear someone accidentally jogged a setting on their photoshop template at some point and no-one noticed until it was too late

Look at the Escalation poster. It was the same setup, just red words.

Edit: From CoD Wiki: Shangri-La

Now I'll be imagining myself as the O'Connors fighting off hordes of mummies in China.

I believe it'll have free content after release as well. The Physical Warfare pack will be free to players later this year, or something.
