Default Flashbangs are actually really good

I'd always dismissed them for the 3 points everyone (should) know about:
1) The throw animation is a lot longer than the stun
2) The detonation is time-based rather than impact based, making it harder to direct it where/when you want
3) It is only effective if you are staring in its direction (unlike the stun).

These factors seem to weigh overwhelmingly in favour of the stun.

I've decided to go for Tac mask pro for the first time, this involves getting kills on stunned/flashed enemies. My current tally is 14 flashbang klils to 3 stun kills. That seems way too much in favour of the flash to be random.

Gas is best
It has a similar effect to the others combined.
It can kill on it's own.
It can hold/defend/help capture a base/bomb quite easily.

I am partial to a bit of gas myself. It's great when you chuck one on an objective and get repeated hit markers. You've got to wonder what the hell the guy is doing, it's not hard to move a few feet away from the noxious fumes.....

I think flashbangs seem to last a lot longer than stuns however.

Scavenger Pro, Warlord Pro.

Spam gas; win game

I found TacMask Pro to be remarkably easy with the flashbangs though if you play mostly headquarters.

Fbangs are great, i've replaced stuns with them recently. They last longer and the enemy takes longer to react since they have no idea where the enemy is for a moment, whereas with stuns they have the general direction and can still see somewhat.

I rage badly when I get a great stun on someone but they still beat me in the gunfight through firing randomly yet in annoying slow motion. flashes do completely disorientate, as I know from experience.

I mainly use stuns to knock off those pesky second chancers. Hurl one from cover, humiliate the enemy, and move on (yes, flashbangs do the same but they take a bit more time). Stuns also help a great deal when someone is running away from you.

A little off topic but I feel like you should actually wear a mask when you use tac mask.

Exactly why I use stuns. That and I've used them since CoD4, so I guess old habits would die hard.

And kinda like how the Sunglasses perk in WaW gave you sunglasses? Yet Gas Mask didn't give you a gas mask.
