I've played cod 2, mw1, w@w and mw2. Black Ops owns all over the previous iterations.

Black Ops is the best COD, IMHO. I love it.

Tons of camping. I'm guilty.

In FFA I'm that Ghost, warlord, ninja guy with the heartbeat sensor.

Problem is that some FFA's are so camp heavy that it's hard to even break 20 kills before time runs out.

HB Sensor is what people are calling the Motion sensor since they're about the same thing... IMO MS is actually better since it gives you 360˚ of coverage.

As far as camping, yeah, it's pissing me off too. But it's also making me realize that I can't be so offensive all the time, I rush too far into enemy spawns without teammates around. If I follow my teammates more often I do better.

I played some Domination for the first time today. Gameplay was choppy with 50ms ping. I still need to tweak some settings; I'm not playing on my normal monitor so that may have something to do with it. Also haven't done any console commands so I'm sure I'll get a boost once that is complete. I was instantly discouraged with the amount of hitmarkers I was getting on people. I haven't played enough to make a "love it or hate it" comment.

Is there a sticky or thread somewhere with console commands for Black Ops or are they all the same as COD4?

Black Ops "stops responding" and freezing forcing a ctrl + alt + del a hell of a lot. Probably around the once an hour mark.

Spawning in TDM at least is AWFUL. Where consoles are limited to 16 people (or 18) and the PC currently is too, I think combined with the big maps would mean a very slow game with loads of running seldom finding any enemies. I therefore assume that they've made the spawn points very aggressive to try and concentrate the action in one portion of the map. The downside of this is that 3 to 5 people will suddenly spawn 30m behind you AND/OR people will spawn in your line of sight and well within the range of your weapon when you yourself have only just spawned.

Not Black Op's fault (although the server browser still has the "shows the incorrect ping" bug - which seriously, why does this still happen? It's been there since COD4 at least and is a simple fix in concept. Developers obviously have a big list of actual technical problems with their code but deem some not important enough to fix) but this game is very unenjoyable for me with my connection. Ping varies between 25 and 300 depending on the time of day and has a jitter of upto 50ms. Main issue though is massive packet loss.

The one thing I can't stand is the thought of other players who are not intelligent enough to realise that lag IS NOT (I repeat: IS NOT) an excuse made up by people who suck and is a physical problem that exists and can be shown with maths to reduce the probability of you getting a kill each encounter... (punctuation would have helped in this sentance!) ...thinking they're a lot better than me. I'm 100% fine with people who ARE actually better than me, killing me every time.

Thank you. I agree, it is a huge problem in this game, it was fine for me yesterday around 2pm-3pm, but I played later on that night(around 10pm-12 am maybe) it was almost unplayable. =/

One of the things I dislike most about this game is the fucking equipment. One of the things I think MW2 got right was allowing you to either have claymores or grenades. Not both.
