First game, 22-6. It's good. The guns don't kill instantly like MW2, might be my aiming, but feels like a good start. Have to play for a few hours before I can really give a full opinion of it.

Edit- ok I've played it for 4 hours so far. It's really good IMO, throughly enjoyed it (had to stop cos I had to go to bed as I have lectures early today). I was sceptical about the pro perks and how easy COD points are to get but tbh they're not hard at all. This is my setup which I obtained at level 17-

I unlocked the Sentry Gun by mistake thinking it was 5 KS :/ but anyway, Famas seems to rape everything by far. Haven't tried LMGs yet but will do later. I find levelling up quite slow though and I like the detailed stats on your game at the end.

They need to sort their shit out re PC servers. Very laggy, most likely because everyone is trying to connect and shit.

Haven't been able to access/record to theatre mode. Can't even use console commands for some reason.

anywho, besides the choppy FPS and server overload it has potential.

Is that because you need to enable "console" in the "game options" menu, are pushing the wrong key or does it simply not work?

You say it was choppy on your desktop/laptop. What resolutions, rough settings & importantly CPU/GFX card was that using please?

The menus etc still look rather "ghey, consolised," visually no different than anything since COD4 and rather uninspiring. The menus don't appear to scream "console game" at you like MW2 did.

When you play the game, can you tell it's a port and, if so, why/how?

Also, why do you say/what-makes the gameplay extremely laggy due to the servers. The browser (which is a welcome old friend...) shows some really good (again with MW2 I forgot numbers UNDER 200ms existed...) pings?

Tried running on 1920 on desktop and laptop, couldn't do that, dropped it to 1600. Desktop has a HD 4670 Laptop running a nintegrated 230M GT. Laptop is i5 and seems to be coping better with it.

Comparitive note, i ran MW2 with high textures on 1920 without aliasing i think.

I can open the dev console, but when I try commands such as cg_drawfps 1 it just puts it in all chat, same as record. Everyone is experiencing FPS lag so i'm not sure what the deal is there. I'm running on like 1600xsomething or rather 16:9 ratio with low textures no aliasing or filtering just so I can play through the spikes and drops in FPS. I think there are still a few kinks to be ironed out but overall it's promising I feel.

Maybe a future update (game or driver) will improve performance for you. From what I've seen the game (graphically) looks good, but nothing special.

Then again, I haven't seen any real high quality video of it - let alone on PC.

Played it most/all of the day. Haven't raged much. Haven't felt the killstreaks are stupidly overpowered. Not much has annoyed me so far tbh. Couple of things have though;

- Melee in Wager Matches. Not sure if this will affect the PCers, but on console with it's lock-on lunging it's just stupid.
- LMG's don't seem to have much recoil. Haven't used them much/at all, but I've been sprayed down by them while I'm trying to learn the recoil of my AR.
- Party system on PS3 doesn't seem to be working. Might be because the game hasn't officially launched here yet, so I'll wait until after midnight to fully judge that.

Good things;

- Combat Record (stats to everyone else). Love the depth of these, brings up my nerdy side well. Unlocked at level 13 (I think), take a look at it when you get it.
- Game balance. Bar the LMG's, everything feels even/balanced. Having to actually shoot people to kill them compared to the instakill of MW2 is a great change. Feels like there's a learning curve.

So much potential. I'm sure some people are going to ruin it because they suck at the game and don't want to learn how to play it, but other than them it's got a chance to be great.

Edit: This is all I could think to write. Have to give it a few days play before it can be fully judged tbh.

Ill be completing SP before I start MP as I have done with every game i've ever played.

I usually do. But this time I selected MP instead. I'll get around to the SP sometime soon, perhaps during the day when no-ones online.

Yeah. I'm seeing more people in clans together now though, so I'm thinking that it might work after midnight when the "true servers" go live.
