I fully agree. I do this all the time. I use SAM, CP and sentry with hardline pro.
I've rick rolled many GW teams with my ludicrous box drops.
Why would anyone even equip a 8-11 KS?

I'm going to say they will. A lot of people are talking about it and saying it's overpowered, most of the people doing the talking are people who use it and are saying it's unfair.

Treyarch designed it to be like this, kinda strange tbh.

If they just removed the chance of getting above 7 killstreaks in Sentry/SAM boxes, I think it'd be better.

I'm not so sure. Anyone who plays regularly will be able to earn CPs on a fairly regular basis. The odds of getting something good look pretty slim but when you're getting at least one a game you're going to end up with an 8+ KS at least once an evening.
Anyhow, rolling a second time only increases your chances of getting a good KS by a small margin from the first time round so you're still likely to end up with something non-game changing.

Okay, you have 4 chances to get something good, essentially.
You know its a Sam Turret but can change it to something possibly better
CP can start with something great, but if not, can be changed to something better.
Sentry is like the Sam.
