Default Breaking news - using a killstreak to build your next one
Hats off to this guy, he's discovered that if you are piloting one of the choppers and kill someone via a vehicle explosion, it counts towards your next streak. All the details can be found here:

not a game breaker, and probably not something you'll be able to implement a lot of the time, but it might be a nice surprise on occasion.

edit: I should make clear, it obviously only adds to your next streak if you die before calling in said chopper.

It's not a nice surprise if you're getting destroyed by a Huey like a minute into game and the guy only has about 5 gun-related kills.
