Post guides flame free!

To make the guide sections a nicer place we are implementing a simple proccess to go through that essentially double checks your guide to make corrections and alterations before it goes "live" in order to maximise the guides potential. More details below or in the Guide Rules thread.

A comprehensive Guides section with high quality guides is not only good news for individual players wanting to improve but it's also a great part of our community. It is therefore in everyones interest to ensure that all the guides are of a high standard. To enforce this there is a simple proccess to go through, hopefully this will provide you with:

• A chance to get private, non flaming, feedback before the guide is released
• The opportunity to greatly improve the guide, from correcting spelling and grammar to fact verification and extra content.
• A system where you can write part of a guide, save it, and continue writing on another occasion

The guide submission process works as follows:


1. Click "Submit a Guide" and create a new topic as usual.
2. No one else can see your guide, only yourself and the moderators.
3. You will be able to read and reply to moderators' comments and edit/improve the guide where neccessary.
4. After your changes are made, the guide will be reviewed again. If needed, step three will be repeated until the forum standards are meet.
5. Once your guide is approved it will be moved to the Guide section where the community will be able to read and reply as usual.

That sounds good abc, I'd like to see individual guides for each gun with all of the guides set up the exact same way... but that probably won't happen.

i would be willing to help

vis is more of an expert on writing them than me, but i no a bit or too plus i can help on the layout and the organisation of the guides

and from past experience the moderators do not help in this sort of thing in c4f there was only me, u (abc) and some times 1 of the mods helping
