Hey guys, welcome to Poll of the Week (PotW)! Every week there will be a Call of Duty-related poll that you guys can vote on. The questions will be about any Call of Duty game and will be open as long as members continue to vote.

This week's question: Do you own Call of Duty: World at War?

I feel ashamed to say I own it. I baught it expecting the same intensity as modernwarfare, and was greatly let down. I didn't realise that having it made by somebody other than infinityward would change the game so much. I think I played WaW for a month, if that and reverted back to COD4, like all my other friends.

Yea, I played it for 2-3 months, then got tired of it. I play it every now and then.

i owned it and gave it away cause i thought it was worthless, expecting it to be amazing but with the let down it couldn't stand it

I owned it. I absolutely despised it though. I went to take it out of my game case a couple months back and it was snapped in half. I think the kids might have stepped on my game case and broke it... and I didn't much care.

I don't own it. When it was released I was still having lots of fun with MW and didn't really see the need to pick it up, and the PC I had at the time wasn't really capable of running it. When I got a new PC I picked up some of the singleplayer games i'd been missing out on with my old PC (Fallout 3 being one) and these tided me over for a long time. After that MW2 was only a few months away and I was still playing MW on a regular basis so I didn't see the need to get it anymore.

I was short on cash when the game came out so I decided that I'd save what little money I had on buying another game instead of buying what I felt was a World War II reskin of COD4. I later rented it but never finished it due to the rental disks being scratched beyond repair.

I'm sad to say I do own it and booked over 8 days playing time on it.

It's fun and all but it's really just a slightly upgraded version of MW, without the fun. Took me six months to come back to MW, but I'm glad I did. WaW hasn't left its case since June.

I own it. Played it for about 2 days after release and didnt touch it for about 5 months. After all the patches came out, I decided to give it another try. It still sucks.

I just recently gave it yet ANOTHER try, this game is utter crap. Its hard to imagine Treyarch could have such a great engine and scheme to work from... and screw it up this bad.

I rented it because I wasn't fond of the beta to begin with and I got to 2nd prestige and ditched it.

I have owned this game ever since it came out. I love playing this game. It's a nice break from CoD4. The reason why I pretty much stopped playing CoD4 was because of the servers. There was always lag on the servers and it made for a really unpleasant experience.

I know alot of people gripe about the mp40 on WaW. I really dont have to worry about that because I play mostly hardcore snd. You still run into the occasional mp40 but I mainly just run around with overkill on and carry a sniper rifle with the stg44. It makes for a really fun game IMO.

yeah WaW was a pretty big let down but there are only 3 reasons y it was so bad .(1) the bad spawn system. i have died numerous times because i have walked 3 steps and gotten killed from either a betty or a person. (2) the horrible lag. a lot of matches just have the worst connection. i get slashed even though the guy slashed air.and i lag for no reason i mean i had cod4 but sold it but when i had it when i lagged on WaW i checked on MW and i would have 4 bars makes any sense? no (3) and finnaly and the most annoying..... the mp40. i mean the gun doesnt need stoping power to even kill -_-. it is stronger then 3 of the snipers the springfield, arisaka, and the kar98k. i hit someone with the springfield and they didnt die and they turn around and hit me 2 times and i die. dumb? yes.

I bought it and was disappointed in it particularly in the spawn glictches. I gave it away!

Bought it. Beat it. Played MP for a while but hated the fact that it had Tanks in it. Felt they made MP matches lame. Turned it in towards another game.

I own it, but it is getting very boring now and I have a hard time playing it for hours and hours like before .. and for some reason I cant get back into MW, so I mainly play DiRT2 and NHL10. I just cant wait for MW2, its gonna be amazing !

I own it and still like it in spite of all its faults. Let me rephrase that. I still like the MP but I had a hard time getting motivated to finish the single player. The single player was utterly ridiculous. I never really got into the zombies but I did try them. My biggest complaint was the spawning and the misrepresentation of the actual weapons. I also agree with the guy above about the differences in lag and being killed by someone facing the other way.

Own it, and still play it....it's not the best game in the world, but certainly allowed me to hone my skill on rifles...and it was nice to play while COD4 was being glitched to death when people were floating about space and ruining COD4. I will, however, drop W@W and start playing MW2 on the 10th of November (hopefully the PSN will be able to handle the onslaught of players that day).
