Hello all,

Welcome to the ModernWarfare2Forum.com community. This board is still a bit of a work in progress but we should be 100% well in advance of the launce of MW2 in November.

We have made a (bold/foolish?) attempt to import user's from our already existing Call of Duty 4 forums. The idea being we wanted everybody to be able to keep their usernames and be able to access the new MW2 forum without having to re-register. The results were a bit mixed, but it looks like overall, it has worked for MOST people.

If you are one of the unlucky few who was unable to be ported over directly, feel free to either contact me directly or just go ahead and register on your own.

We are still a bit away from being 'done' with this forum but the overall layout and general design are getting pretty close. As of today (Oct. 2) we still need to polish up the design a little bit - VB forums have lots of buttons that have to be made (like 300 of 'em) - but our in-house designer, Rafael, is on the case and I am really happy with the work he has done so far.

I have added several modifications to the base VB forum package and there may be a few more coming. If there are any specific features you'd like to see, do let me know and if I can get them in here, it'll get done.

Likewise, as I said the general outline of the forum is basically done, but I know there will be some sections/categories that will need to be added before everything is said and done. If you know of a good one or have any suggestions, I want to hear about those too.

Things aren't quite 100% yet, but we are far enough along to go ahead and make posts, create threads and generally kick the tires on this thing. So, by all means... fire at will. Let me know if anything breaks or doesn't work as intended.

As we get closer to 'official' launch, we will be creating our Mod team. The current plan is to extend mod invitations to the existing mods from the CoD4 forums/board and XBOX360forum sites. Beyond that if you are interested in pitching in, just let me know.

We are very excited about this new forum. We will be heavily promoting this site and I am looking forward to spending a lot of time here myself. We have a great domain, a great design and a fantastic community already in place before we even launch. Not too shabby. i have no doubt this site will be one of the premiere destinations for all things MW2.

Great work Mike & ABC and everybody else who helped, this site is great and it's not even fully finished yet, I'm sure this will be a great community, when MW2 launches this site will BOOM even more, looking forward in being a part of this community, keep up the great work

I actually thinks it's a rather good idea. I've been a moderator over at COD4Boards for over a year and I would be more than happy to help out here.

I have pretty high hopes for this forum. Hopefully when all is said and done it will be better than C4F but I'm not quite so sure since VBulletin is lame as hell.

Definitely a smart move, guys. Never really saw the point in having two sites over the same thing. Especially when the sites worked together and were so close at times. Looking forward to seeing the community grow and flourish. It might not do so straight away, but when Modern Warfare 2 ships, this is the URL I'm sure most people will go to if they're looking for a good forum to discuss it.

He he he...couldn't keep it secret from me for long--though I wish I could invite my other COD4Boards friends over. Nice work, seems like the two communities are gelling nicely

No i'm sure I saw a thread where you said 'you can contact me on any of the following' then Victim said 'I added you on MSN lol'. I thought maybe you admins use that for admin purposes or something.
