The PP2000 was at a funny angle because it was Akimbo'd. Q1 caught a few people out, mistaking it for the M16 (excellent, my plan worked) Onto the big one...

All 19 entrants got Q3 wrong. However Schosch, and later HBK, did eventually get it, for which they were awarded a half mark which made them joint-top scorers if you they (HBK) like(s).

Explanation of major clue fail for Q3

So err yeah. Doh. Got the location of the pictanny rail (mechanism for attaching attachments on western weapons, hence attachments such as the ACOG and M203 will fit lots of different guns easily) mixed up with the rechambering lever - which would thus render it useless if it was a pictanny rail. Hence I said:

As far as I'm aware that is NOT a pictanny rail. If it is, MW2 doesn't attach the attachments on it, but places them on another part of the weapon.

Major fail on my part, I not only re-submitted my 2nd attempt at Q3 after you'd marked it, after you'd published the answers, and I got it wrong AGAIN.
Still, great way to while away a monday morning back at work. Nice one.

In a desperate attempt to deflect blame I can only put it down to ABC's Q3 confusion, it must have rubbed off on me.
On another note, I have no idea what this smiley should be used for but it's very strange if you watch the whole animation:

I thought 3 was the SCAR. D'oh. It's the most obvious rail anyway. I didn't even know that the FAMAS had a rail thing. I learned something today.

I wonder if anyone got 6 wrong ROFL

and number one was the easiest to me... The M4's irons are unique, 2 circles.

On the plus side colts, you may have given me an idea for the next quiz, similar to this but show lots of tiny details, all from one weapon.

Or I could do the same thing but for maps, or vehicles (basically killstreaks)

Any input, suggestions, comments or ideas that people would like to make about the quizzes so far, or the next one? Any topics/formats you'd like to see or should I just continue to suprise (in the sense you don't know what it is) you?

Having only done two it's a little difficult to say but so far, I really like what you have done. With only two weeks worth of questions all I could say is maybe mix them up. Some picture questions and some normal. I like the idea of different pics of same gun/killstreak (though I doubt I would be good at it).
Oh, another idea maybe would be questions about levels.
What level features.......
Where could I find a little pink toy dinosaur
How many (x) are there on.......

All in all though good work. Much appreciated.
