As many of us know, a few weeks ago N. Korea sent an artillery strike against the South, killing 4 people IIRC.

In the past weeks, several nations have sided with one country or the other. If it turns out to be a "Civil War" between the Koreas, this will probably be worse than the Korean War.

China is siding with North Korea, and if I'm not mistaken, they are asking Russia to side with them, too.

The US and Japan are siding with South Korea.

China, North Korea, The US, and Russia all have nuclear weapons, and Japan is contemplating building their own arsenal.



What's your opinion on how this will turn out? Do you think things will calm down between the nations, or do you think a war will break out? And if so, on what scale?


I'm feeling that if it does turn into a war, it won't be a simple Civil War.
