Hey guys, and ~2 girls, the title makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm going to buy a console and yes, you guessed it, I need help choosing between the HACKEDSTATION3 and the XRRODX360.

This doesn't mean that I'll be leaving PiracyCenter though, I never will <3

I'll be getting a Wii soon, but I will probably wait for the Wii U to come out in 2012, so let's just concentrate on the two beloved gaming staples mentioned above.

I don't have much experience with either of them; so far this is what I can say about them:

- PS3 has better graphics/overall performance than the X360 on exclusives, due to superior graphic/processing power

- X360 performs better than the PS3 with all other games (multi platform) in the same way, due to easier coding.

- Online = you get what you pay for, Xlive is better, PSN is free.

- I'm not up to date on exclusives on either side.

- I can confirm that PS3's do not work underwater, I can only hypothesize that X360 don't either? (LOLSUP OZ)

- While I think the X360 S looks fantastic, looks aren't of importance to me now - PS3 slim is for a fact... slim, size is quite appealing to me....

- X360 S runs quieter.

- X360 loads games faster when installed to HDD, PS3 runs games faster from Blue-Ray/Disc media.

- PS3 BLUE-RAY

- X360 has more USB ports?

If anyone can update me on the features, exclusives etc... I would appreciate it, they're quite evenly matched for me, a more casual gamer so the only big thing that is really influencing me right now is that I'm a PC gamer, many Xbox games are available to me already thus a PS3 sounds more interesting.

Towards the "console exclusive games" part, XBOX has Halo and a hell of a lot of Indie Games (Impossible Game FTW). PS3 has things such as KZ and LBP.

I have both systems, and they're pretty much the same to me, minus the controller set up for the systems (360 being more comfortable to me).

Honestly, if you have friends who have a 360 and/or PS3, choose the one most of your friends have.

Xbox or PS3 you'll still get me!! Another point about game quality is that a lot of developers design games for the 360 then port to the PS3. This causes the PS3 games to have lesser graphics. However, the holy grail, Battlefield 3, is going to optimize all the consoles which means that the PS3 version should be superior. I would say also look at all the people that you are "friends" with and see what they have. I know I started out on the 360 but I have more friends that play consistently on the PS3 so I play on the PS3 most often. As for what I think you should buy, get a PS3 and join AoA.

What Oz said, (blops plays so much better and looks better on xbox)and:-
Xbox live is better no question, more stable can connect easier etc but I seem to get more lag.
Controllers, most people I know with both prefer xbox but even though I have got used to them now, the 'dead zone' that you get with the xbox makes the ps3 controller better imo.
Heassets. The wiring you have to do to get your headsets wired up on the xbox is a joke. Why the fuck you have to connect it to your controller is beyond me, and I feel like a fly in a web sometimes.
There seems to be less people play xbox. May just seem that way but I get more games with low numbers of players on xbox.
The PS3 collects dust for fun.
Kinect > move
PS3 has iplayer and ch4 player

I like both, but the sticks the blu ray player and iplayer would swing it for me if I had to choose.

Imunality

Where does your friends play? pick that. If you've got aquainted people on both I'd choose the console which has the best controller for your hands. There really are no significant differenses between the two as far as the gaming experience goes so you could flip a coin.

Most of my IRL friends aren't much of gamers, I'll ratio you guys and your consoles :P

I sound rather similar to Mexican/Hispanic accented English speakers, close to what you have in the US, you know, high pitched rusty voices with emphasis on R's, T's, L's and often the end of words.

Needlessly to say I'm very gay and annoying sounding, Asperger's doesn't really help either.

Yeah since im just about the only one here who doesn't have both consoles, you should probably get the 360. Just figure out who the best people on this forum are (this should be obvious) and get the console to match.

I have both systems. I got MW2 and Blops for the Xbox (never getting another cod game again) and will probably pick up halo 3 and reach when I get a chance. For the ps3 the only online game I have at the moment is AC3. I did get the free games Sony was offering due to the whole psn hack thing but don't know if any of them are online yet since I haven't played any of them.

You can remove your card details, they should be cleared from the database if you do. Not sure how it works. The hackers didn't get any credit card details when they hacked PSN, I can't see any being gotten if they try again.
