Default Two Player Xbox recommendations

sooo I bought my beloved an Xbox for the low price of $50. We only have two games; Lego Indiana Jones and RDD. Aside from the typical FPS stuff, do ya'll have any recommendations? We both love Zombies so L4D2 is an option (already own on PC). We are eagerly awaiting Dead Island too.

tell me what I should throw my money at.

provided it hasn't been taken, my XBL is GhostHands but it'll be February til I have internet for MP online stuff.

Wow thats far. And going by the about 10 games I have:

Torchlight (if you're into WoW, I kind of got into the game awhile back. And its from the XBL market, I can't remember the cost)
The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile (extremely gory gothic fighting game, also XBL market)
Obviously CoD and Halo (Reach)

And just for S&G, the Impossible Game and its Level Pack (2 different downloads). It's really is almost impossible, but its addicting. And it has an awesome soundtrack.

I'm moving in February so it's pointless for me to get webz now even though it sucks more than anything not to have internet access.

Last night we got a couple of pre-owned games; Army of Two and Tenchu 2, the latter is not an offline 2 player game but it's cool anyway. I absolutely have to get a keyboard/mouse adapter because controllers and I do not get along. You guys will need to stock up on KY when I get internet, that is certain.

If you love Zombies and want two player split screen fun get Resi 5.
The sp sucked but the mp is 2 player split screen co op. Played hours and hours of that with a friend. It is very good.
This gen of consoles is lacking badly on the 2 player front.
Mortal Kombat could be fun, my missus and I used to love fighting each other.
Also worms is great with a partner. Also name the worms as bra, knickers, pants, top etc and you can play strip worms

This made me lol.

I still can't get used to 360 controllers for online play, I'm so used to PS3. So I know how you feel.

(Ghost gets an unfair advantage )

Mortal Combat is a great suggestion. I used to play the arcade version of that back in the 90's. I am so used to first person stuff that it's been a challenge to switch to over the shoulder games and fixed camera angles, but I know once I get the adapter it won't matter much.

AFAIK they have every controller for every system (ps3 controller for xbox, xbox controller for ps3, mouse&keys for both)

Army of Two was a good choice as well...

Since you have no internets, I'm assuming you can't get XBL Arcade games?

If you were able to, I would suggest Castle Crashers.

Army of Two has decent coop play. Gears of war is a good one as well. COD Waw has coop campaign plus zombies.

Or be like every "cool" person on XBOX and put a ton of x's, z's, or alternating capital and lower case letters, in your name.

/sarcasm

Fable 2 is a great game as well. It does have a coop mode where the second player tags along mainly assisting in battles. This and Gears of War 1 are both around $8 pre-owned at Gamestop.

Feels left out.

ToastHands sounds closest.

LOL I like ToastHands.

Is this one taken? 8==D~~~Hands

OT: Dead Island is releasing a Collector's (Red) Edition which looks soooo awesome compared to some other specials. Obtaining it may be the hard part as I'm unsure which countries it will be distributed to. Edit: It's only available in Poland. :/

See here for awesomeness.
