AoA is looking to get into this game as a squad. We've got the BETA, and are just waiting until the 4th of January to be able to play

Should be a kickass game.

Oh yeah, I can't wait for it. Zipper knows how to make good shooters, especially third person shooters. MAG will be great, but I'm looking more toward SOCOM 4, because SOCOM: Confrontation was a disgrace, Slant Six should never develop something they know nothing about, but thats for another thread.

The idea of having large rooms and multiple teams against each other is an awesome ability, can't wait for the full release.

I read about this a ages ago and it sounded good..!! Did not realise it was coming out so soon, but there is so many good games you just dont have enough time to play them all in depth..!! So where can you download the beta..?? Is it PSN..??

I am downloading this just now from psn.. i will play it later on tonight, has anyone played it yet? whats your thoughts? *edit* the amount of downlading for this demo is ridiculous..!! The update is 1.9gig..!!

Err... You kinda missed the Beta, it's closed now and you're going to have to get the full game on the 26th.

Either way, I dl'd it and played it when it opened on the 4th and I hated it. Played one round and deleted it off my hard drive forever.

Just didn't "feel right" to me.

A friend in America said it is still open but it is slow, graphics not as good as MW2 and not very fluid..!!

Um. How do I say this nicely? You're friends a liar.

The graphics are indeed not as good as MW2.. But the gameplay of MAG rips MW2 a new Ahole and makes it look like a waste of money. This is coming from someone who's been a call of duty fan for years now.

It is actually VERY fluid, everything runs together nicely and never gets choppy. When HUGE explosions happen near you everything gets slowed down slightly, which is supposed to happen. Anyways these explosions don't happen unless your playing domination mode, where there's 256 freakin people playing together on one gigantic map.

Now this is why I say its not slow. There's ALWAYS something to do in MAG. Even in the smallest game mode (sabotage, 32vs32) there's always something to do and somewhere to go. Even more so in AQUA and WAY more so in domination. There's objectives laid all around the map.. literally everywhere. You're squad leader targets an objective, you do stuff around it and it gets you double xp, which makes even lone wolfs play as a team.

This game is VERY teamwork and strategy oriented. If you're so used to the MW2 arcade shooter game, mindless run and gun crap with minimal teamwork and constant lone wolf crap.. Then don't even bother playing MAG, because non of us want those types of players. Now if you want to work as a team and do some serious killing and pwning of loads of other enemies AS a team and communicate while doing so. Then in that case, MAG is your game.

I'd probably enjoy with a group of friends, but I didn't get the feel of it either. Maybe it was to do with the gamemode they had out, but I won't be queueing up for it, however I might it eventually.

It worked extremely well for a game of that size, that has to be said. Especially with no lag.
