I've been very surprised to note a lack of appreciation for one of Activision's earlier war efforts, Hidden & Dangerous, on either this or the COD4 forum (unless I'm not looknig properly).
For me that was a ground-breaking game in so many ways, especially gameplay and interface - I don't think any squad-based game has come close since. It seems vastly under-rated and forgotten by a large part of the gaming community, a tragedy in my opinion. And you only need to play a few minutes to see where the inspiration for Captain Price and the good old SAS has originated.....Anyone else a big fan?
