Default Video Game Music
What are some of your favorite video game tunes? In my opinion, some of the music in video games are the best music you can listen to sometimes. It's a overlooked genre (it deserves one), and I could vibe to some music from these video games all day. Here are some of my favorites:

Megaman II - Dr. Wily Stage 1
- Very classic and adrenaline pumping song for the level.

Final Fantasy X - To Zanarkand
- I can't tell you how many times I shed a tear listening to this song at the ending of the game. Such an emotional song put into the keys of a piano. Definitely worth a listen if you like FF.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Gerudo Valley
- One of my favorite instrumentals from this classic, one of a kind game, definitely something to listen to when you want sound filling up your room.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Sacred Grove
- A remix of Saria's Song, and a good one at that. I usually put this theme on when I'm relaxing.

Megaman X3 - Zero's Theme
- Zero, being my favorite character, certainly deserves a theme that labels him as one of the badasses of the game.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Final Destination
- My favorite stage of the game, has pretty good music to fit the fast paced, action of the fights.

This is only the tip of the iceberg of my favorite music, how about yours?

I always liked this song, I don't know why though.

For nostalgia sake The Wind Waker was my first Zelda game

YouTube - Metal Gear Solid 4 OST - Love Theme (Full)
This song played through the introduction of MGS4 which in all was a very epic scene.

Short on time right now but I'll add some when I think of some.

Def this. I love all of FFX's songs cause it was the only RPG-like game i ever got into. It's a beautiful game.

that is one of the most insane pieces of game music I've heard, even for pre-1990 stock. Superb.
EDIT: Just watched the guitar version. I love the way he feels it's necessary to add sunglasses to his bandana look around the 1min mark. Strange man.

I know this isn't exactly the same as what ya'll are talking about, but some of the groups/artists on Scrub Club use a lot of old 8-Bit music for their nerdcore songs. Madhatter is one that definitely does, and I'd also recommend EPP and Kabuto the Python. Oh and it's all free for download, though I'd encourage you to donate; these guys don't make a lot of scratch.
