due out tomorrow.

prolly have to line up to get the inevitable "unique key" crap from FP, or somesuch...

hope this isn't going to turn into one more disappointment - but time will tell!! :-)

Looks like you get some pretty impressive stuff by preordering might be worth taking the plunge just to get an advantage.

Nah i'll just be hardcore and play like others who didn't pre order and not risk getting stung by the hype.

I don't know about DLing direct from Steam but the BC2 website says you have to DL from a list of websites on there. BTW it did open on the 28th (lol this thread is a tad old now ) and to get a beta key you either have to pre-order via Steam or a list of retailers/e-tailers, also on their website.
