It depends if you want full headset or just Mic.
Turtle Beach are exellent value and very good sound. You can get better quality but the price goes up too. I have a good sound system at home so I can get all the different noises in surround such as footsteps etc so I just use the sony mic. Enables me to hear the missus too. If this doesn't bother you Turtle beach are a only a bit more than the sony mic but miles better quality. (quite emersive with headphones too). The sony mic is JUST for converstation. |

Oh man now its all getting complicated.
Ok i have surround sound which i pretty much always have on, i really dont want any wires anywhere around my beer drinking area, dont give a sht if i can hear the missus or not but i do want a half decent set. The turtles do look good i must admit, havent seen the sony thing yet but it would be pointless having massive headset and surround sound

Well your best bet would be to get wireless headset although they cost a bit more.

Yeah,
Cheers for the info though... The sony one looks exactly the same as the one ive got so it owuld prolly fall out my ear as well. Im thinking somethin like the old walkman style things you used to get or failing that i would have to get a full on headset and try and keep one of them off my earole!!!

if this is sorta like the xbox one then what skuh said. if you're looking for a real good headset just get like the $30 TBs. i have the $60 ones, a bit better but still you can hear footsteps, that's crucial in MW2. I wouldn't be able to go back to a regular headset if this one broke.

I'd use Sennheiser for a PC.

I've got the Triton AX pro's, and I must say, what a huge difference. Good headsets give you an immense advantage, specially in S&D or FFA. The triton is quite expensive but it's worth every penny !
