Default Heavy rain.

Omg. I don't know if you guys&girls played the demo for Heavy Rain, but it's pretty darn interesting. If you haven't tried it, then you should totally try it.
Here's the uh trailer:

Go play the demo!

If it wasn't for God of War III coming out in a few weeks I'd probably own this game by now. Looks interesting I'll borrow it from my friend see how I like it and decide if I'll buy it or not.

Played the first one, it was cool cool.

Haven't played GOW I or II, but when my cousin finishes it, then I will. Which will be cool.

I own it. I won't tell you much because imo it is better going in blind.
The control system is "strange" and while I wouldn't say truly innovative, it is different.
As for does it work. So far I would have to say yes, I like it. I seriously doubt it is for everyone though.
My girlfriend is playing at the same time, (we are not watching each other so we can compare stories after) and she also likes it a lot.

I bet! I can't wait to play it. It's a bit eerie though lol. Hella creepy looking at times. I totally agree though, the controls are weird. Especially walking with R2 wth lol.

Noice! And really? There's different paths to the demo? For which character? I know the detective and that one woman can have a talk or he just leaves, but that's all I noticed.

Yeah I mainly was referring to the slightly different outcomes with the detective sorry.. I dont think theres anything too heavy in the demo.

Anyway I picked up the full game (Ironically in the pouring rain ) and been playing it the past 7-8 hours. Almost through my first playthrough of the story and its pretty damn cool.

Definitely recommend to those who like story, are movie buffs or just like a good thriller and enjoy exploring / puzzle solving (not that theres a great deal of this but it requires a similar kind of patience I reckon.. esp for the first hour of play or so).

Some of the graphics are amazing and very occasionally photo realistic which looks great in HD. The scenes with crowds of people are pretty mind blowing and animation is very well done. Big atmosphere to help drive the excellent story.

Unfortunatly its PS3 only but the upside for PS3 owners is that it just looks that much more solid than a cross platform game (in the same way Uncharted 2 is).

Go buy!!

And a free cookie for anyone who plays it and can tell me where the Twin Peaks homage is...

Checked out the demo at the weekend, it does look prett fckin good i must admit.

Controls are a bit erm wierd to say the least but i guess its not going to be a fast paced game.Looks like a pretty good mystery/thriller movie more than a game.

i will buy it tho.

OT i then tried the demo of Justcause2 lol.

Perfect for running round like a twat shooting everything.Seems very very similar to the merc games........

I was disappointed with it.

Maybe cos I couldn't save Madison before I got to have sex with her. (Ironically that's my gf's name, I hope it isn't a look into my future)

I bought it a few days after it was released, proved to be an interesting game to play. The controls are certainly different and at times bloody annoying, I've managed to see it through to the end but wont say too much as its better to see for yourselves.

Although I have to say that having sex with a virtual chick even gets the gf jealous ?!?!
