Xbox and ps3 are very different.
As far as controls go, xbox would be better in my oppinion.
It usually depends on Graphics, or controls.
Controls
Controls are usually mastered, and then the player is used to those controls.
If the player playes on a different system or console, they will probably not be used to the controls.
Which should i get? Xbox or ps3?
I recommend Xbox. Why? Because of the graphics, controls, and space.
The controls are very basic on the 360.
The graphics are also very high quality. Not as high quality as PC, but very high quality.

For an objective comparison check the link above. The xbox wins but the difference is so slight that it honestly doesn't matter. Same results with many other similar comparisons out there that you can find with a simple google search.

Bare in mind that the fact that these things need to be compared in such detail to actually find any differences is evidence in itself that the differences are not worth worrying about.

Therefore, if you are only EVER going to play MW2 and not interested in future or past titles, and you are not familiar with either controller or have friends on either network and dont mind paying a fee for network services then nether console will have an advantage on its own and thus, xbox will probably be the best bet.

But even so, you still probably wouldn't notice any difference while playing the game.

If you have both consoles, then your decision is probably best made around what your friends on PSN and Live are doing.

Well it depends on what you are used to then, So just get a xbox. Also it depends on wether you want internet search or no. Also wether you want DLC before any other or wether you want to pay for live.

umm i'm sorry mr fanboy, but as a seasoned gamer i feel that comparisons made between x box and ps3 or even PC for that matter is like comparing fish to cheese.

for a start ps3 has bigger hard drive
its free to play online
the controllers don't take stone age AA batteries
the graphics aren't better (i wonder if the comparison guy tuned his tv propperly or even his PS)
Will X box 360 see 3D (umm no)
does it play blu rays (umm no)
how many discs would you need to run a PS3 exclusive on an x box (umm 5)
who's got the better exclusives this year (umm PS)
which is quieter (umm my slim and sxy ps3)

the only thing i can say for the x box is nice anolog sticks and the 2 trigger buttons, however RB and LB are as bad as the Z button on the GC.

getting dlc before any other is because x box users pay twice for DLC once when you buy your live sub and then when you buy the DLC.

also the PS3 was never meant to be a straight up gaming console, it is called a media centre for a reason.

also the overbright bloom effect they are talking about in that comparison is total poop, this leads me back round to people not setting there TV's up properly or using the correct set up, if you look closely at some of the x box piccys they have colour blur in them, i don't want to see that!

at the end of the day this will just turn into a console war and they never end well, who cares any more i just love it when x box players come to PSN and get their ass handed to them

Not all x box gamers are bad though
