Well Actually the theme of the game drags me to play the game on and on, so this is only reason that I am game addicted person. I know it is really great fun thats why I have the copy of PSP, X-Box and the PC games.

Haha its funny, i never played it but its really cool...reason?...i phoning with very cute girlfriend of me...she playing mw2 on xbox...and the rent alan wake for xbox in a video library...so she played it while we are phoning...and she was so frightened, because she dont know what happens next. so i use youtube to look for a gameplayvideo...then i told her, that she must be careful, because there is a monster behind that wall.... ...she went behind that wall and screamed in phone that was soo funny xD so i never played the game but watched half of the game on youtube

note: dont play that game alone...play it with ur girlfriend

I played it a few weeks after it came out and loved it. I plan on getting it again this friday as a matter of fact.

Have you played it yet?

You should. You should also get it new cause it will come with a code for "the signal" downloadable episode, which is what i'm playing now.

I beat the main game and the DLC. It was pretty good, but I'd like to play the next DLC asap.

I was looking online to see if and when more episodes would come out and didn't find anything other than the signal. I'll be pissed if they just stop making content for it.

When I play story based games like Alan Wake I'd at least like to get some closure in the story from devoting some time to playing the game. I doubt that remedy won't release another DLC mission, but it really pisses me off when developers decide to add cliffhangers to games to force the player to buy the add on or sequel.

Oh i completely agree. The big reason i got the signal was cause it came free with the game. I'd have to see pricing for the next one before deciding, though i do hope there is a next one. Or next game? Alan Wake: The Complete Second Season.

Ok no seriously I thought I was playing a game not an interactive TV show based off a novel. If I wanted to watch a prime time TV show I'd just watch fox. Ending please.

Sucks that it's not available on any other platform - was really looking forward to it as it's apparently inspired quite heavily by Twin Peaks, one of my favorite TV shows.

Oh i agree that i'd like a defined ending, but the episodic feeling game play is what i liked most about the game. Hearing, "previously on Alan Wake . . ." to me made it feel more than just game. To me it was like the perfect mix of video game, tv show and book on tape.

This game just reminds me of how terrible current TV Shows are.

I also enjoy games like this. I've played games that have tried to do this and only made the game that much worse. As long as the developers do a decent job with it, I enjoy it much more than just playing the game nonstop. It gives you a little break where you can sit back and watch a tiny episode of what's happening; and with this, it makes the game seen so much more realistic.
