1. +ability power, -magic armour aura
2. +abiltiy power/damage, magic lifesteal, 300 magic damage nuke with a slow
3. Fastest movespeed boots
4. +ability power/damage, buffs damage/attack speed per spell cast
5. +ability power/HP, slows targets that suffer magic damage

Not even close.

I was, however, using the equivalent of Post Haste as one of my global summoner spells. The second summoner spell was blink.

What you were buying were points that are spent on permanently unlocking characters, buying minor stat buffs for use ingame and extra skins for owned characters. Poitns are earned for buying these things by playing the game but spending cash on these points accelerates the rate at which you can unlock stuff. Characters are available for free based on a weekly rotation but to use characters after they go off their rotation, one must buy them either via money or ingame reward points.

I love me a good RPG. Shooters are fine, but I play games for the story. Even GTA games, I get much more out of the story than running around killing people, as fun as it is. Even MMORPG games, I don't really mind them. The only thing that bugs me is having the patience to actually dedicate a lot of time and strategy to get certain items, enhancements, and the game terminology.

RPG's are much more personally rewarding IMO.

EDIT: I was just commenting on appreciating different types of game types, not this LoL game itself.

hon/lol have no story at all. its purely a competitive team game which is good sometimes for a change. However playing pubs you generally need to not rely on your teammates

I played HoN when there was a beta, liked playing with friends. Can't be bothered to buy it because nobody i know plays it anymore.
