What is the first game that introduced you into the gaming world? For me it would be Spyro. It's quite different from the FPS games I now take joy in, but Spyro is the earliest game I can remember that invited me into the world of gaming.

I think I was around the age of six or so, and I remember I was at Blockbuster with my father and every week or two we would rent a game for a while and play it together. This was the first time that we started doing this and I chose a game almost randomly and that game was Spyro. I can't recall exactly which game of Spyro it was, I think either Spyro: Year of the Dragon (made in 2000 for the original PlayStation) or Spyro: Season of Ice (made in 2001 for the Game Boy Advance). Either one of these was the first game that I've ever played and ultimately the first game that brought me into the world of gaming.

Honestly, I don't remember. Something on Atari like Space Invaders most likely. The first game I remember really playing consistently was the first Mario.

Space Invaders on the Atari 2600. I must have been about 5 or so but I can easily recall it. I also remember after going to bed later that night, waking up and in the dim light "hallucinating" thousands of invaders flying all around my room and not wanting to fall asleep again.

Incredible how video games once seemed *that* amazing.

I can hardly remember it, but I think it was an old Rube Goldberg type game for PC. You had to get the mice to the cheese safely. Fond, horribly vague memories.

Is this title grammatically correct ?. For me the first game I remember was called combat for the atari 2600. Classic multi player action involving tanks and aircrafts firing balls around a simple maze.

I can remember in the early days having a Sega Saturn and some games on that, playing my friends or my cousins Sega Megadrives playing sonic and other games that I have no idea what so ever as to what they could be.
