I can't wait. I devoted hours in FO3...exploring DC, the Mothership and killing mutants and ghouls alike.

Anyone else love the Fallout Series? Or anticipating this well done FPS/RPG?

I can't wait. Like you, I loves 3 and put tons of hours into it. The only thing that pisses me off is that Fable 3 is coming out the week after and then Black Ops a couple weeks after that. Too many games sequels to games I love are coming out too close together. Hmmmm....maybe I could take a month of from work...

I'm awaiting this excitedly, but I'm also a little anxious as to whether it will be the same game to me as Fallout 3 was.

I have always been a FPS fan, but after it got great reviews, I bought Fallout 3. I have never really played RPGs, and I've never been able to play any extensively. But after playing it for a few hours, I gained a big enough knowledge base to be able to play it well, and therefore enjoy it.

What I fear is that New Vegas will change the structure of the game just enough that I won't be able to get into it in the same way.

I loved all the fallout games (aside from BoS...ew) and I am looking forward to this game massively. And also the mods, that's what made Fallout 3 last so long for me.

^ The mere fact that they announced DLC before the game was even released is pretty lame if you ask me.

I'll buy it once it gets cheaper like I did with Fallout 3.

Bought it at lunch and played through the character customiztion. Most of the reviews said that it was glitchy, and that is def. true. Only played 20 min. and the game "froze" up twice on me, although it did fix itself after a few seconds.

Wow. I'm 27 hours in & have just killed Benny cause I wanted his gun.

I don't plan on finishing the main storyline for quite a bit. Too busy having fun exploring. ^^

I found there isn't enough to explore. It's what I'm doing now though.

I have 5 million caps at level 18, and I'm almost done on the main quest.

I have like 40 hours playtime. I still need to do Black Mountain, a couple of Vaults, find some of the unique weapons, but I don't know what else.
