I just finished beating Mass Effect 2. It is the best game ever and I recommend getting it if you don't have it. You probably shouldn't play it unless you've played Mass Effect 1 though.

Mass effect 1 was fun, but not amazing. Mass effect 2 was a trillion times better. I loved every second of it. Did anyone else find this game amazing?

Don't get me wrong, the gameplay was awesome but the level design was boring. The first was the opposite.

Dont forget the side missions though. On ME1 every single side mission used one of like 2 or 3 templates for a "base" or whatever. It was very annoying.
ME2's "universe" was much more expansive and there was a whole lot to do.

TBH I loved them both, but overall I though 2 was better made.

I loved both games and can't wait for the 3rd to come out (sometime 2011). I liked the improvements they made mission-wise with ME2. The final mission is actually one of my faves in a game ever.
