Default So, I am selling my PS3.
After 3 long years, I have decided to sell my PS3 to a friend, who managed to get a YLOD on his just 2 days after Black Ops came out.

I think £100 for just the console and two Sixaxis controllers is a decent price.

I think that this was coming all year though, as I have hardly played it. I already have a Blu-Ray player downstairs, and I game on the PC, so I don't really need it, except for when my PC goes down.
Anyone else with similar stories?

I stopped playing on PC when I bought my xbox 2 years ago. When I get around to buying a new PC (hopefully this year) I might stop playing on xbox, brah.

If I got $15 for my Gamecube I'd make a profit. I was out a couple years ago and I stopped at a garage sale, some kid was selling his Gaycoob, like 10 games, and 2 controllers. The kid didn't know like anything about pricing so he sold it to me for $7. This was like a year or maybe 2 after the gamecube came out.

Um. That's actually not a bad move if you bought the glorified 60GB model. I did exactly what you did for my 60GB unit.

Bought the slim. So far the only Plus I've seen of owning a PS3 compared to a PS2 is Bluray. Was is so freaking hard to implement a backwards compatibility?
