my first signature in about three months, thought it went well, how do I get new brushes onto GIMP btw? I know its somewhere in the program files, but im blank from there and where can I download 'em from? cheers. (:

Nope, I was just playing with the effects and stuff, new to GIMP so just wanted to see what everything does.

Never used it/heard of it until your post. Googled it. Just use photoshop
I have used Photopaint too atually.

Yeah, I'd love to but its reallly expensive. whats photopaint like?

Good, not as good as photoshop. Perhaps easier to use while still being very similar and usually comes with more effects/actions/brushes etc than PS. Considerably cheaper too. You have to buy as a package with CorelDraw and if you are on a Mac.......NO!!
Corel is good on PC and rubbish on a Mac (don't know why).

ah. :/ i think i might save up an get photoshop fer christmas. im liking GIMP atm though, and found some brushes on Deviant so, expect some more in time. where'd you get your fonts from?

I'm a graphic designer and get fonts from many sources and probably have a library of around 5-10,000 fonts

Lots are paid. Others I just troll any site that says it has free fonts. When you have so many though I rarely go looking for a 'style' of font more a specific font.
