IMAX 3D was supreme. Objects that are far away appear in absolutely stunning realism... forget Avatar the fly-by of the _____ rising out of the moon and the fly-by of the massive battle on whatever-the-autobot's-home-planet-is-called was breathtaking. 3D Blackhawks were incredible. After "What I've Done" and the absolutely epic sight of a Eurofighter circling to the intro of "New Divide" I was skeptical of LP's latest Transformers-tie-in (Irridescant) as it's a completely different tone but was perfect. I even forgot that Megan Fox was not in this one before the IMAX 3d advert had finished, it was that impressive...

I'm going to see it tomorrow I believe. The first grew on me after watching it 70+ times (my sister and I kept a running tab of how many times my mo mwatched it), but I still don't like the 2nd one. Hoping the third is as good as you say.

The graphics for the "rising out of the moon bit" are literally stunning. I'd love to know how it's acheived because it really is in such a different league to what normally stuns gamers (the FMV sections in Medal of Honor for example are insane, yet have nothing on the "far away" graphics in Transformers 3)

Cartoon was great. Watched the first movie and it was shit, but innoffensive and past the time with spinny shiny stuff. Watched the second one and my eyes were bleeding. An awful movie. 2 hours I am not getting back. Wouldn't watch the third unless I was on a promise.
