MNF 10.5.09 [Vikings vs. Packers]
Figured I'd start a 'gameday' type of thread where everyone can talk about this game (whoever enjoys American football). My guess right now is the Vikings win 28-17.

Hard to say, the Packers are the first legit team (and even THAT is debatable) the Vikes have run into. Little early to make that call.
The only 2 road games have been @Cleveland and @Detroit... c'mon. Took a miracle for them to take care of business at home vs a Frank Gore-less Niner squad. Not sold on the Vikings yet. Last edited by MikeMcD; 10-06-2009 at 09:44 AM. |

But Gore is where their bread is buttered and they almost got the Vikes (in Minn.) even though they lost him in the 1st qtr.
The Niners are better than they were, true. But if I'm a Vikings fan I dont feel too good about the Niners holding AP to under 100 yards and damn near stealing one on my home field without their best player. |
