WHO NEEDS DVD IMPORTING OR A WEB BASED VERSION OF ITUNES LIKE ITUNES CLOUD OR APPS ON TV ITS NOT LIKE EVERYBODY ON THE PLANET OWNS THEIR ALBUMS ON CD OR VINYL OR ANYTHING SERIOUSLY I MEAN ITS THE BEATLES FOR GODS SAKE THIS IS SO AWESOME BLEHBLEHBLEHBLEH BLEH

Seriously Apple? Nice marketing. Don't overhype things like that.

So putting a large picture of the Beatles on their website is overhyping it?

I dunno, as a young guy I was excited when they got Led Zeppelin on iTunes.

And overhyping something isn't bad marketing...

Already had the entire discography at a better quality than that provided by iTunes. Paul and Ringo are getting no more money from me (or any at all for that matter).

That wasn't the overhype. Apple claimed it was borderline revolutionary and a day nobody would forget.

Yeah, 20 years from now, "Daddy, where were you when the Beatles went on iTunes?", I don't see that happening.

I don't get why you are mad that they advertise like that...

Of course it's not revolutionary, but when it's given that much attention, more people are more likely to buy it on iTunes...
