Use the UMP, you're just another person that thinks he's a pro by using it. Once you get caught up in the UMP addiction, you can't get out of it.

Go for the p90, it has a HUGE clip, nice damage, and a nice fire rate. I get ~11 kills a game of SnD(especially when we defend first). Once you get the hang of it, you'll like it.

UMP .45: 2 shots close, 3 shots long;
P90: 3 shots close (50% increase), 4 shots long (33% increase). Rate of fire is 50% higher.

On the magazine sizes:

UMP .45 has 32 rounds in the magazine:
16 kills up close;
16 kills up close with headshots;
10 kills long range, two bullets left over;
10 kills long range with headshots, two bullets left.

P90 has 50 rounds in the magazine:
16 kills up close, two spare bullets;
25 kills up close with headshots;
12 kills long range, two bullets left;
16 kills long range with headshots, two spare bullets.

If stopping power is present, the P90 has the higher firepower in all cases (negligible up close, however). Due to the damage, if you can consistently shoot people in the head, the P90 wins.

However, the UMP .45 has easier to manage ammo, as it fires slower, is easier to control, has fairly predictable recoil, and is affected very little if you don't use SP.

I'd take the P90 on a tight map, UMP .45 on larger ones.

Though I don't like any of the guns. Gimme an MP5K.

thanks a lot for the stats but im also on a one SMG class limit so if i could do both i would have and then there would be no point in making this poll. and plz also take into account that one of the guys that im playing with is a noob screen peeker (we're playing split screen) and the other is a noob tuber cz it just gets kills

Who uses stopping power with the UMP? You throw a silencer ont hat bitch and run cold blooded or lightweight.

Completely forgotten about that. To be honest, I just used both silencer and stopping power. Useless once the killstreaks started flying, but good at keeping them from doing just that. Also good because headshots at long range actually had an effect.

Well, alright.

What you get if you don't use SP is a gun that is alright up close (not particularly high rate of fire, 3 shots to kill), but fantastic at longer ranges due to being easily controllable while having its damage almost negligibly changed.

Silencer further improves this by making you harder to find.

If you remove SP from both guns, the P90 doesn't compare, having a similar TTK (at close range), plus a higher recoil. Long range, the P90 is just worse.

I used SP on the ump to gain an advantage using secondary weapons, usually a pistol.
