Default A really noob question.

Just 'really' started playing Call of Duty a few days ago, and just joined this forum. I was just wondering, what is everyones take on shooting from the hip? I know that aiming obviously has more accuracy, but it seems to be hard to do that when you're coming around the corner and someones there. Maybe it's just because I haven't played enough yet? I tend to shoot from the hip a lot, only when they're right in front of me and I don't know if that's bad or not. >.< Advice?

I shoot from the hip if I'm surprised. Generally start aiming down the sight whilst I do it.

Start hooting from the hip, then bring sights up. As you approach the corner, bring the sights up before you get there so that you are ready if someone is around the corner.

i find using a close range secondary is more effective like akimbo g-18 or akimbo rafficas...mostly all the machine pistols will do a decent job

I shoot from the hip where i can get away with it. [For example, you come across an oblivious noob who is unaware you are behind them]

Or if someone pops up from no where and you spray and pray!

Also, with certain guns i find it better to shoot from the hip, eg SMGs.

I think its fine to hipfire when you can/need to. Just dont try and hipfire when someone is miles away from you. It wont hit them and you'll just draw alot of attention to yourself.
